Registration for swim team occurs in early May. Send an e-mail to Lisa Boneham at LBoneham@aol.com so that you can be added to the swim team e-mail list.  

Swim Meets and Practice Schedule:
Swim practices are held every morning (Monday through Friday) as well as Monday through Thursday evenings.  In order to participate in the weekly swim meets, a swimmer must attend a minimum of 3 practices per week. 

Swim meets are held every Tuesday night during the swim season.  There are also 2 Championship swim meets which are held in July, and participation in these Championship Swim Meet will be determined by the swim coaches. 

Costs:

There is a registration fee of $60 per child, with a family cap of $180 per family.  This fee covers coach salaries and awards.  Every child on the team also receives a team t-shirt included in his/her registration fee.

Parent Volunteers:

Each family must volunteer to work at 3 swim meets during the season.  There are a variety of volunteer jobs availableundefinedsome which require training, and others that can be done without any experience or training.  During registration you will let the volunteer coordinators know of any dates that you will be out of town and will also be able to choose which jobs you would like to perform.

Swim Team Uniform:  

We have a team swimsuit that is worn by our swimmers during swim meets.  This suit can be purchased at Kast-A-Way swimwear on Glenwood Avenue.  We keep the same suits for 2 seasons, and switch to a new design every 2 years.  While you are not required to purchase team swim suits, we do like to have our swimmers wearing the same suits at swim meets if possible.
